2010 | Paysages lettrés
"In the first series, I opted for a panoramic format rarely used until now, where the letter is positioned along the horizon line, resembling a floating text. In the following series, two different works are placed side by side on the same support. This proximity serves as an exchange, a plastic inquiry—a kind of pictorial transfer between the pieces, with the choice of juxtaposition offering a different reflection and rhythm each time... Both series share an unusual reduction in size. However, only their dimensions are diminished; the content retains its scale.
These pieces, which seem to be mere fragments, remain for me an integral whole, where each arrangement offers a novel plastic space. Questioning fragmentation and the proximity between the works proves to be limitless, leading to an unknown succession." — M.W.
